Why we invested

Spirometry tests are demanding and sometimes inconvenient, making compliance difficult, especially for children and the elderly. In comparison, the oscillometry technique is effortless for the patient and allows more information to be accumulated about the airway, especially the small peripheral airways, which is not possible with the spirometry technique. Thorasys’ solution will be critically important with the long COVID to help diagnose airway compromise.
